I am a software engineer with 30+ years' experience employed as a Senior Software Developer at AccuWeather. I also volunteer for Civil Air Patrol as a mission pilot and group aerospace education officer. I was commander of Williamsport Composite Squadron 401 from Jun-2007 to Aug-2014. I have a consulting website for occasional small projects that come up that don't conflict with my work at AccuWeather.

In 2014, I attended NEScala and LibrePlanet, and I will attend StrangeLoop, RacketCon, and the 50th Head of Charles® Regatta.

→ I love this video to remember Harry Parker, masterfully put together by Eliot Hodges. Harry Parker is the reason I wanted to go to Harvard. At Harvard, Harry was by far the most significant person in my life, and Harry has remained a positive influence in the decades since, not just for me, but for multiple generations of Harvard rowers spanning more than a half century. I was very lucky to spend an extra eight years ('88–96) coxing out of Newell boathouse seeing him every day, training with college and national team athletes as we worked hard to prepare for future great moments. I'm going to miss Harry, but I will remember him forever. Thank You Harry!
